*stares at the conflict between X and Unknown from several dozen feet away, then begins slowly approaching, still keeping my distance* Yo, 'sup Unknown? How the heck you doing? You're getting beat pretty badly. You should not give up like a lousy weakling and try to win. Not that I'm speaking against X or anything. *crosses arms slightly and watches as the "battle" go on, my skull secured tightly in my grip and my eyes and senses alert* Tsk, tsk, Unknown. I thought you could do better... ~I should let this situation play out to my advantage. The way I see it, no matter who wins or loses, in the long run, I'll be victorious~

~Not too arrogant...~ *shrugs* I do not know, X. I was merely in the neighborhood from watching the pest Darksaber fight against [and basically lose against] Quicksilver. I saw you utterly thrashing Unknown and thought I should drop by now. So, what are you planning on doing now? ~Is Unknown still alive, even after that? Or did he die?~

Hm? *shrugs and looks back at where the ruined wall [and Unknown] is located, then shrugs again, looking to X and standing as I am* ~I'm not entirely sure what he has on his mind, but I feel it would not be wise to try anything risky or something he may take as arrogant. That being said...~ *begins following X* Where are we going, might I ask? No one ever informed me of any other part to our plan. Or any plan that we moreorless had at the start.
OOC: Idk what [if anything] is happening, but I'll play along.

Hmm..... Yes. *pulls out a raydar* By what this thing says.........There are nine skulls in all that we must gather. It seems that they were split up and sent scattering across the planet. It looks like there are two already in possesion, while the other seven remain unfounded. It sounds like the beeps are coming from these places:
Onyx Caverns Onyx Dessert Onyx Volcano Onyx A.A. facility Onyx Graveyard Onyx Waterfalls Onyx Marshes
If your going to help out.......... You should go find campanions to go with. Split up or stick together, it really dosen't matter. Just as long as you get them all. I must stay here and take care of these two. However, may I recommand little Lab assistent X here. Just be careful with him please. You are in the best condition out of eveyone, so as such you should lead your group, or find someone that will. Good Luck! Any questions?

Ugh... *falls back down, more to rest my still-tired body and neck* This is so ridiculous... but if I have to... *slowly gets up and stumbles a few meters, looking outside at the surrounding area* I'm not sure who I could find or why they would help me, but can you at least try some of your... hocus-pocus magic tricks to get Quicksilver and Avenger on their feet again? I'm gonna need some expert help...

I prefer the term magical thinking over hocas-pocas magic trick, and here is why. Magical thinking in anthropology, psychology, and cognitive science is nonscientific causal reasoning that often includes such ideas as the ability of the mind to affect the physical world (see the philosophical problem of mental causation), and correlation mistaken for causation. Associative thinking may be brought into play, as well as the power of magical symbols, metaphor and metonym, and synchronicity. Since, in both theory and practice, magic does not conform to Western and modern canons of causality it is therefore appropriate to ask if it is rational to practice or believe in magic. For most theorists these questions turn on the matter of the practitioner’s thought processes, intentions, and the efficacy of their practice. Associative thinking.
Prominent Victorian theorists typically regarded practitioners of magic as irrational because they felt magic was based on incorrect notions of causality, called "associative thinking." Edward Burnett Tylor coined this term, characterizing it as pre-logical, in which the "magician's folly" is in mistaking an ideal connection with a real one. The magician believes that thematically-linked items can influence one another by virtue of their similarity. For example, in E. E. Evans-Pritchard’s account, amongst the Azande one rubs crocodile teeth on banana plants to make them fruitful, because crocodile teeth are curved (like bananas) and grow back if they fall out. The Azande observe this similarity and want to impart this capacity of regeneration to their bananas. To them, the rubbing constitutes a means of transference. Sir James Frazer later elaborated upon this principle by dividing magic into the categories of “contagious” and “sympathetic” magic. The former is based upon the law of contagion or contact, in which two things that were once connected retain this link and have the ability to affect their 'related' objects, such as harming a person by harming a lock of his hair. Sympathetic magic operates upon the premise that "like affects like," or that one can impart characteristics of one similar object to another. Frazer believed that ‘primitive peoples’ think the entire world functions according to these mimetic or 'homeopathic' principles. In How Natives Think, Lucien Lévy-Bruhl describes a similar notion of mystical, "collective representations." He, too, claims that magical thinking is fundamentally different from Westerner's. He asserts that in these representations, 'primitive' people's "mental activity is too little differentiated for it to be possible to consider ideas or images of objects by themselves apart from the emotions and passions which evoke those ideas or are evoked by them." Lévy-Bruhl explains that natives commit the post hoc, ergo propter hoc logical fallacy, in which people observe that x is followed by y, therefore y has been caused by x. He believes that this fallacy is institutionalized in native culture and is committed regularly and repeatedly. These theories of associative thinking assert that magic is irrational. However, they are contested because they are based upon the premise that native people's notions of causality are inferior. This outlook has sparked much disagreement and has generated alternative theories of magical thinking, such as the symbolic and psychological approaches. So what do you say?

... I say that whatever vague and likely illegal foreign substance you took before must be pretty damn strong to keep you going all the way till now. But fine. I'm gonna need some of your "magical thinking" [bullsh!t] to help with Avenger and Quicksilver so they could serve a meaningful purpose. Are you going to do that or aren't you?

I shall work on everything that I can do here. Please go find more help for this mission. I know it's sudden, but I have no one else to turn to. I have little X with me so you need not worry about his safety. By now you should be feeling alot better thanks to all my earlier treatments on you while you were asleep. Also it's been about 3 or so days, so in other words you should be fine. Lastly there is someone who I would like you to take along in searching for teammates for your mission...

~Right. Because you, a blind elite, can keep X perfectly safe. And it's strange. It seems like a lot of time has passed... like five weeks? Must just be my imagination.~ Oh, lord, Light... Just give me everything I would hope to need so I can finally begin searching for those damned skulls.
OOC: Just a reminder. If there are ever any new chappies of DS complete, send them to me.

*rolls eyes and grumbles* Yeah, sure, whatever. Do I get some kind of leash or is that against your strange code of humanitarianism as well? ~This has just officially reached the level of bizarre I knew it would... I wonder how the heck everyone else is doing?~
